Notes: This ruin is the former Powder Hut for the Hexworthy Mines. In Richardson (Mines of Dartmoor and Tamar Valley after 1913) page 35, there is a sketch dated 1935, which shows the Powder House plus other features such as the 1905 New Mill and Engine House at Hexworthy Mines (Steve Grigg via email Sun 23 Nov 2025).

This item is on old maps but not on modern and can be easily seen from satellite imagery like Google Earth etc.  (RJN)
