Reference: The endeavours to put this stone upright again are largely down to Paul Buck and the Chair of South Tawton Parish Council, Andrew Sampson. As of August 2021, the stone has finally, after what has felt like a very long time, been repositioned and upright for the public to enjoy. The NGR was ‘fixed’ by Max Piper in October 2021.

Paul Buck’s informative blog post (here) provides an intriguing account of all five stones.

In March 2022 a stunning tablet was erected beside the stone, created by Paul, giving information and background about the feature.
