Minor Watersheds: Bovey, Meavy, Walkham, Webburn.
Acknowledgements: The river/ stream GPX lines within this classification were first drawn by Paul Buck, tweaked by Max Piper and then adapted for integration within the Dartefacts database and map displays by Rob Naylor. Rob Naylor has also created the 'catchment areas' of the main Dartmoor rivers - these are the black lines that are effectively 'ridges' that separate the watersheds (initial data courtesy of 'The Environment Agency' - South West River Basin District - although some considerable adaptations were required). Some of the river catchments do not 'cleanly exit' the DNPA Boundary (north part of the Teign catchment and the Lyd/Tavy edge for example) but for simplicity these very minor areas have been ignored and the point at which a major river first exits the DNP has been taken as its final 'catchment area' exit point. I think that those 'ridge lines' would make a number of fabulous Dartmoor Traverses..
