A little disappointing not to find this one given the large gatepost at the entrance to the woodland looking a good contender. One possibility is that the benchmark is buried under leaves since I didn’t check being in a public place and all… or it could be integrated within the wall although that’s unlikely for such an old-looking construction. Again the poor light along this road hasn’t helped with locating these benchmarks.
