Whilst walking along the road to the next benchmark site I checked my GPS, only to realise that I had just walked past it so I retraced a few metres where, below and to my left, I noticed a very large cut mark on a vertical boulder slightly mossed over but still very discernible. I was pleased to have seen it but a little surprised that I hadn’t noticed it on the way up.
