Max Piper Note: One of my best finds (if I’m allowed to say that?) as I had searched extensively but had given up, only to notice the B.M. on this slat slab when leaving the location. It really was very hard to see, obscured by lichen and moss, until I brushed it to reveal a modest cut. Only thing was, as I was so excited with the find, I forgot to record an accurate NGR, so hopefully the photos will help you find this one! (NGR obtained on Friday 2nd January 2026.)
The photo on the right is looking uphill towards Great Trowlesworthy Tor. The white ring encloses the slab on which this B.M. can be found.
