Rob Naylor Note: It took two visits to find this one. Very faint cuts and partially obscured by white lichen made it very hard to see. It’s on quite a low, minor rock in an area of many other rocks, some much more prominent and more ‘obvious’ to use as B.M. locations I would have thought. Considerable feather and tare work has robbed this area of many blocks of granite and I had previously thought that this was yet another victim to gate post cutters in this area.
