Acknowledgments: Claire (username: mkcladi) very kindly provided Dartefacts with this new cross item. The grid reference is currently a guesstimate but is likely to be close. Claire states, ‘With your back to the Whealam cross look up the hill and slightly to the right, it is in a small loose group of boulders about 30 metres or so away up the slope. It is small, metal and etched with ‘BH 10 T’ on front and on reverse is scratched lettering ‘ten tors’.

10 T refers to ‘Ten Tors’.

Bob Noakes has also kindly provided further information: ‘BH relates to Brian Harrison who was a volunteer with Ten Tors’.
