Meldon Hill, above Chagford, is one of the finest eminences on East Dartmoor, at almost 400m high. There are phenomenal views of the surrounding countryside, and there are plenty of tors on the summit to sit atop to marvel at the vista. Numerous rock basins can be discerned too, some of these amongst the largest on Dartmoor.
