There is no mileage to Exeter on this milestone, despite what old OS maps show. Situated on the B3212 (a very windy road between Exeter and Moretonhampstead), this particular stone was unearthed by Max Piper on 9th July 2023, when he found it to be face down and recumbent. It was quickly rescued by DNPA and taken into storage, until it was re-erected on 30th April 2024.

The ‘2’ is depicted as more of a backwards ‘s’.
