Notes: The grid reference and details for this item were kindly supplied by Steve Grigg where he says: “This short, shallow cutting on Red Lake Tramway was, in all probability constructed as a retaining wall for the bronze age “Addicombe enclosure A” (ref Butler, Atlas of Dartmoor Antiquities, SW). R. Hansford Worth surveyed the route in 1909 and most likely insisted on this.”
