There are 3 or 4 recumbent slabs inscribed ‘M’ or ‘W’ – presumably the latter, which is what’s seen when viewing the inscriptions from the road, which could be for Wellington Square. These photos were taken from inside the square hence showing ‘M’ (upside down W).
