Cleared of vegetation by Max Piper of The Milestone Society in December 2022. It is propped up against a wall, surrounded by leaves, to the right of a private entrance. The stone is inscribed ‘C’ and is the only one surviving here, the northern stone in Lower Ashton having disappeared.
