Notes: Various names have been provided for this odd-shaped rock, including The Belstone Clanger and Holloway Parson Rock. Please see Tors of Dartmoor to understand why.

In May 2024 a robust-looking tree was noticed growing up alongside the boulder. This was not observed in previous years and so is obviously benefiting from the regular rain.

Look out for the crudely incised ‘B’ near the base.
