Reference: Steve Grigg: Dartmoor Explorations: Willsworthy Target Tramways (Oct 2020) and Willsworthy Manor (“WB”) and Hamlyn Newtake (“H”) Boundstones (Aug 2021).

There are a number of boundstones encircling the Hamlyn Newtake wall, and whilst this one was considered to be the No.2 Post, it is unlikely as it is uninscribed whereas all other Hamlyn Stones are inscribed. Mark Fenlon and Paul Rendell explored the area and found no evidence to support this stone as being a Hamlyn Stone.
