Further information: Keith Lambeth guided an American family out to see the remains of the Liberator and memorial stone in July 2026. The father of the family was the nephew of and named after John Benson, the radio operator on the plane. He provided Keith with some images of John and also John with a plane and crew that is believed to be the crew he served with in the UK and a letter from the chaplain at Dunkerswell describing a memorial at the church in Dunkerswell. Keith asked if a page on Dartefacts could show this information to enhance the understanding of the sacrifice these airmen made and this page seemed the most appropriate.
