Notes: Situated amid gorse, this is a fine Bench Mark inscribed on a low, flat granite boulder on the southern slopes of Glasscombe Ball. There appear to be two cut B.M.s on this same rock, facing in different directions. The cut mark amid the white lichen is the more obvious of the two, whilst to the right of that is another one it appears that I mistook as the first one! I didn’t see both marks at the time; it was only at home that I realised there seemed to be two.
It appears that the less obvious one is the actual one marked on Side by Side (see link below), given the NE direction it is facing. What is going on here? Am I seeing things?
Reference: Side by Side

This is the cut mark facing NE as depicted on Side by Side.

The rock in question. Facing the camera is the featured B.M. while immediately to the left of my walking poles is another?
