Notes: This is a tough Bench Mark to analyse. I arrived at the NGR taken from Side by Side which pinpoints this huge slab of granite on the lower south-east slopes of Wacka Tor. Naturally, I had a look at the rock to see if I could locate a cut mark, but no luck. Immediately beside this, and at the NGR given above, is a triangular rock completely enshrouded in lichen. I was still well within the range of the original NGR, and had hopes that, as is so often the case with these surveyors, that the B.M. would be located at the top of it.

There is a bit of a cut but with the lichen as thick as it is I cannot be certain that this is the cut mark, so I have reluctantly counted this as ‘Not Located’ but there is still every possibility that if the rock was cleared the B.M. may be revealed. The photos provided here are purely for documentation purposes.
