Stone Circles
'Brisworthy', 'Grey Wethers', 'Scorhill' and 'White Moor' are the 4 'Dartmoor 365' Stone Circles in this classification. The Sacred Crescent, a significant arc of Stone Circles on the north east moors, can be seen quite clearly on the map below. Dartefacts also seeks to record 'Reported' Stone Circles, these being sites where there have been/be a stone circle in existence, but which has not been formally analysed. There are a number of these, especially in the Gidleigh area. Will these eventually become recognised stone circles?
