Reference: These rocks were so named it would seem by Jason Maddick but have probably been known as such for many years, including Hemery’s observation in his 1983 book High Dartmoor – Land and People. They are involved with a newtake wall corner and upstream is Broad Hole and Travellers’ Ford.
