The name of ‘Man’ (Maen) would certainly indicate a standing stone or menhir in the vicinity, but that does not seem to be the case here.
Maybe the Man at Quintin’s or Quinter’s was removed many years ago, perhaps it is involved in the nearby Teignhead Newtake?
