What a find! The terrain below Holwell Tor is pretty bad, strewn with granite boulders and interspersed with bracken. This is a benchmark hunter’s worst nightmare and having failed to find the previous two, I almost considered not bothering to search for this one. Glad I did. Upon reaching the NGR I discerned a faint cut mark on a boulder. I whooped for joy; it likely hadn’t been seen for 150 years!
