A tor of immense beauty, Hucken Tor is where moorland meets woodland. The huge granite rocks here tumble down through the oaks and have formed caves and crevices where one might find a pixie! Rock basins can be found on top of the lower outcrops that abut to the bridlepath from Longash to Daveytown. Many authors have waxed-lyrical about the tor, and for good reason; you can read about that on Tors of Dartmoor.
