This is a small ruin, enshrouded in bracken during the summer months, above the bridlepath from Longash to Daveytown. It is worth a look in winter – can you find the trough and staddle stones?

Farmstead may date to the 14th century, based on documentary evidence. Depicted on the Tithe Map, is appears to have become abandoned by the later 19th century. Remains of three buildings, gardens, enclosures and a possible rick stand in the nearby field. Sunken lane approaches from the moor to the south-east. Long house has an east-west axis and measured around 13 metres in length.
