Notes: The grid reference and details for this item were kindly supplied by Steve Grigg where he credits RG Haynes booklet on Vermin Traps c1970; “a complex trap, interrupting a pound wall and making ingenious use of extremely large boulders”. Haynes grid was SX 5840 6660. If his “eastings” are to be believed there is no pound wall there, in fact, the grid is by the DWH leat. His “northings” if this is the correct place seem OK.
