Lots of thick moss cover the rocks in this wall. The lower part of the wall has mud banked against it with further moss and grass covering. I thoroughly searched the grid reference but to no avail.

Looking again at sidebyside I now notice that this B.M. is not on the actual wall but must be on a rock just away to the north. I did search a few rocks separate from the wall, and there are some good, flat slabs around, but didn’t find it. I think a return is in order with some serious searching of the rocks away from the wall.

Not much time available for B.M. searching today as I was supposed to be on the moors doing an art project.. but B.M. Hunting has a strong call!
