Find Dartefacts: By Grid Square: This page allows you to select any of the 1044 1 km OS Grid Squares wholly or partly within the Dartmoor National Park.  You can do this in three ways, Namely by: - 

  1. Clicking on a ‘square’ mapicon on the map. This will take you to that grid square and display all the Dartefacts in that and one square in any direction (i.e. a nine squares grid).
  2. Scroll down the list below the map to find the square you want. Clicking on one of these will also display the nine square grid.
  3. Using the search box (top right). To jump to a particular square type in its number in the format SX6676. This will take you to the relevant grid square and display all the Dartefacts in that square only. Additionally you can type a series of these four figure NGRs to display all of those Squares at once. This can be useful if planning a walk that visits multiple Squares.. e.g. SX6676 SX6677 SX6678 SX6679
