This boundary stone sits on the boundary of the parishes of Buckland in the Moor and Ashburton.

Dave Brewer (2002), in Dartmoor Boundary Markers, says that this boundstone is inscribed ‘MAY 4 B/1837/A KINGS HEAD’. The inscription is more pronounced than the stone below and found beside a small ford. It is a lovely boundstone seldom visited.
