This stunning rock basin is actually the largest of three, with two smaller ones adjacent to it. The basin is featured on some historic maps.

Actually reaching the summit of the tor is quite challenging and is not for the faint-hearted or when it’s windy or slippery. Please only attempt a climb to the summit with company present – it is quite dangerous.
